Every week, we’ll take a dive into a basket of 30 branded and own-label products across Aldi, Asda, Co-op, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose.
The basket we’ve chosen to look at is pretty universal - a combination of products based on a shop for a few breakfasts, lunches and dinners plus snacks, drinks, and a few other items.
Based on our defined basket, you'll find the cheapest grocery retailer for the week, and year-on-year, month-on-month and week-on-week price changes.
Observations - 22.09.25
